Hi
Today we went off to the Liver Clinic in Brisbane, a 3 hr Coach trip, got down there by 11.00 am and dropped off my cooler at clinic whilst we killed some time before appointment. When we saw the Nurse she had asked how things were going and i informed her of Sides that i was experiencing, she took my blood pressure, weight and temperature which was 38.6 degrees, which she said was running abit high, Then Heptologist came in and checked my heart and lungs for any untoward sounds and told me he thought i may have a bacterial infection in my lungs and gave me a prescription for some heavy duty Antibiotics and a request for a chest xray. Talked to Nurse about my taking a Pro-Biotic daily and asked her about which Multi Vitamin i could take and also about some Health drinks to boulster my weight back up too. Was told to that my Sugar reading had gone to 13 so have to watch that very closely, or will become Diabetic. Also received 3 more pre written Blood Request forms for future tests, was a good day till we went to pick up the Peg-Intron Pens, because we live so far away from Hospital, they give me 2 months supply to save travelling. When we get to Pharmacy, they inform us they have none, GRRRRRRRR, oh well, they will courier them out to us at no charge, so that was good, some other weird stuff happened, but i wont go into that right now....Then back onto the Coach for return trip which took 4 hrs due to traffic and a road accident on main highway finally got home 9-15 pm.
