Day Eleven of Week 2 - of 48Wks

Hello
Today has been a good day, today, weather was much cooler then yesterday, which made me feel a lot more comfortable with the hot flushes i sometimes get. Still having trouble with night times, in regards the Ribas, but i am starting to accept this now as i think this will become the norm. Did get a bit flustered tonight with Kids, they were only having some fun, but i was getting irritated by it, don't know whether that's from Tx or just me getting old and crotchety lol.

Had my afternoon sleep, this is becoming very ritualistic as well, nearly always about 2 -3pm i am looking for my nice comfy bed in my Cave, where i can escape to. Still buzzy of a night, have found that talking to my dearest friend of a night, has kept me sane and happy with much laughter also, definitely the best medicine for everything.

My friend Robert goes for his 3rd injection tomorrow and i wished him all the best tonight, its good talking with him also and can discuss Sx together and help each other. I am worried about week 3 coming up, because i have seen a few posts lately which discuss heavy going for some people and i wonder if this is par for the course. I feel very much for those people and hope that i will be as strong as those that have gone before me.

Day Ten of Week 2 - of 48 Weeks

Me Again
Hi everyone, the journey moves forward into new territory once again, this morning i woke with a distinctive Haze going on in my head, not sure whether i was just over tired or some new Sx starting in this chain of Tx events. Had a delivery here today and had to concentrate really hard as to the delivery people asking me lots of questions... AHHH dont ask me too many, not at the moment i thought lol but managed to get passed that, have noticed i feel a general feeling of my body being taken over by Tx now and almost as if my system is getting loaded up, for battle i would imagine and hope.
Clinic Nurse rang me today to see how i was getting along so far and to let me know that my first blood tests were all good and there has been no big hit to anything, which she said was great at this point, when i go to Gp next week i will get a print out and let you all know the Numbers and info. I am starting do dislike night time now also, i seem to feel different at nights than days, sometimes i can't wait till daylight, dont know why, just the way it is at the moment... Feel so alone at night, not sooking, just stating an emotional fact........

Day Nine of Week 2 - of 48 Weeks

Hey Everyone

Well woke up this morning totaly different today then this time last week, did not have the run over by a mack truck feeling on my body. Had a few ups and downs, mainly headaches again and i am drinking a lot of water, also the first night i have experienced a reflux type sensation and a bit of nausia. Later in the night i felt very tired and had to crash out for a while and now just typing this up, before i hit the sack.
Went to Gp today, blood results not back yet and i filled in the side effects questionair and blood pressure taken and also weighed and have lost 1 klg, which i dont need to do as i am not exactly built like superman here. Hopefully will get blood results soon and let you know how they went.
In regards to meals, I am having lots of vegies, chicken and some red meat, and snacking through the day as well, toast and peanut butter for breccy and more peanut butter at night time Riba time, behaved my self at Gps and did not put down that i had thrown any remote controls or microwaveovens for that matter either LOL

Day Eight of Week 2 - of 48 Weeks

Hello Everyone
Day 8 already, doesnt time fly when your having fun, Hmmm, well something like that anyway lol went out again today to the next town and this time i got Skinny to drive after my last venture of nearly going bush, much better idea. Went and had my blood test's done and also dropped into Gps to check out my last needle site irritation thing, which was starting to sting and a burning feeling also, As others have suggested putting some soothing cream on the area has helped, thanxs all for that.Came back home after the running around and it was extremely hot here today, so stayed indoors and watched some Tv and also slept again, a lot of sleeping lately, but i suppose thats a good thing.
Tomorrow go back to Gp, to be weighed and return some side effect questionaires and generally discuss how things are progressing........

Day Seven Week 1 - of 48 Weeks

Hi
One week down and 47 to go, today was a real wipeout, in the morning i felt not too bad, so decided to do some light work on the house, felt ok till about lunch time, then this washed out feeling came over me to the the point where I just had to lie down. I went to my trusty cave (Bedroom) and laid on the bed and slept for about 3 - 4 hours and when i awoke felt much better. Have noticed a little uneasyness in my stomach again tonight, just a few hours after my Riba's, might have to have something a little different to take them with and experiment. Still feel some buzzing of a night from them, but dont have trouble sleeping, that part still functioning ok.
Also noticed some irritation around my last injection site, wasnt there earlier in week and is now very prominent and itchy and red, will show Gp on tuesday when i go. Have to get bloods taken tomorrow and also 2nd Injection tomorrow night.

Day Six of Week 1 - of 48 Weeks

Hi All
Well today was one of the best days i have had, nearly no sides today, until tonight i started getting itchy feeling again, nothing real bad, just abit niggly. My water intake is good now and appetite is picking up as well, still get some stomach uneasyness very late in the night, but hopefully that will dissapear as i get further a long Tx.
Went into Chat tonight and had a great time as usual and caught up with a lot of fellow Nomads, great night, to finish off a near normal day........

Day Five of Week 1 - of 48 Weeks

Day 5 already

Well another day in Paradise here folks, over all a good day today, only weird head pains today feels like an ear infection, but i don't know if it is or just these funny side effect things happening. Thank goodness the pains i had yesterday have left, they were of some concern, but luckily they are not with me today.

Went to next town this morning for some business to take care of and on the way back i noticed the drifting feeling again, whilst driving, no danger, i was fully awake and aware, but still this did come over again, funny feeling really, not bad, but there just the same.
Not much more to report today, slept a lot and generally rested and drank more water.
Hey i am getting used to this horrible stuff lol
